To encourage graduate student participation and promote academic exchange in precision health, ISPH will organize student competitions during the Annual Conference.

Doctoral Oral Presentation Master's Poster Presentation

Master's & doctoral students at accredited universities

Submission

Must submit abstract as first author

1. Purpose

The Student Competitions are intended to encourage active participation by graduate students, provide opportunities to present research and receive professional feedback, and recognize outstanding young scholars in the field of precision health.

2. Organizer

International Society for Precision Health (ISPH)

3. Eligibility
  1. The Doctoral Oral Presentation Competition is open to students currently enrolled in a doctoral program.
  2. The Master's Poster Presentation Competition is open to students currently enrolled in a master's program.
  3. All participants must submit an abstract to the ISPH Annual Meeting as the first author.
  4. Each participant may submit only one entry.
  5. Proof of student status must be provided upon request.
  6. The same work may not be submitted to more than one competition category.
4. Registration
  1. Participants must complete both abstract submission and competition registration by the official Annual Meeting deadline.
  2. All required registration materials must be submitted according to conference instructions.
  3. Incomplete applications or applications that do not meet eligibility requirements will not be accepted.
  4. Final acceptance is subject to review and approval by the organizer.
5. Competition Format
5.1 Doctoral Oral Presentation Competition
  1. Conducted through on-site oral presentations and Q&A.
  2. Participants must present according to the official conference schedule, venue, and instructions.
  3. Presentation time and Q&A time will be announced separately by the organizer.
  4. Participants who fail to appear at the assigned time will be regarded as having withdrawn.
5.2 Master's Poster Presentation Competition
  1. Conducted through on-site poster display and oral explanation with Q&A.
  2. Poster size must be 80 cm (W) × 100 cm (H).
  3. Posters must be displayed during October 21–22 at the designated location.
  4. Posters must remain on display throughout the required period and may not be removed early without permission.
  5. Participants must be present during the assigned judging period to introduce their work and answer judges' questions.
  6. Participants who fail to post on time or are absent during judging will be regarded as having withdrawn.

6. Review Process
  1. A review committee composed of experts in relevant fields will be appointed by ISPH.
  2. All entries will be evaluated in a fair and professional manner.
  3. The decisions of the review committee shall be final.
7. Evaluation Criteria
7.1 Doctoral Oral Presentation
  • Significance and originality of the research topic
  • Rigor of study design and methodology
  • Completeness of results analysis and discussion
  • Quality of presentation and communication skills
  • Performance during Q&A
7.2 Master's Poster Presentation
  • Academic or practical value of the research topic
  • Completeness of methods and results
  • Organization and visual quality of the poster
  • Clarity of on-site explanation
  • Performance during Q&A
8. Awards

Doctoral Oral Presentation

Awards granted on a merit basis. The review committee reserves the right not to award a prize if no entry meets the required standard. Winners may also receive a certificate or award plaque. Award payments are subject to applicable tax and administrative regulations.

9. Important Notes
  1. Submitted work must be original. Plagiarism, falsification, or infringement of intellectual property rights will result in disqualification.
  2. If any false statement or ineligible status is identified, the organizer reserves the right to cancel participation or awards.
  3. By registering, participants agree to comply with these Guidelines and all additional conference regulations.
10. Final Provision

Any matters not specified in these Guidelines shall be interpreted and determined by the organizer.
